THE FIRST STEP TOWARD BUILDING A MILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS FROM HOME

Are you frustrated with signing up in a business with hopes that you could create a million dollar business from home and have not been able to? Are you overwhelmed with your business not being able to grow exponentially and hearing all the wonderful stories of normal, average, everyday people becoming millionaires? I want to give you some insight into how top earners treat their business differently from those that just have a business from home.

The Millionaire Mind

I know that we were all created equally but the reason that you have so many differences in lifestyles all over the world is not because of the way in which we were created it is simply the way in which our minds work. You may not realize it but there is a significant difference between the way that a million thinks and those who are not.

Here are some very basic differences that I would advise you to pay close attention to and really look to develop them in yourself and begin to put them into practice in your life and business. This is a challenge that will allow you to take the first step toward building that million dollar business.

LASER FOCUS. The mind of a millionaire is very focused and goal oriented. They do not allow distractions to get them off course and when obstacles do come their way they charge full steam ahead allowing nothing and no one to get in their way. It does not mean that they mistreat, lie, cheat or steal to do so. What it means is that they understand that they have a task to do and they make no excuses to get it done.

HONEST QUESTIONS: Do you have a goal set and if so, are you completely focused on reaching it? Are you making excuses along the way? How will you get focused?

CONFIDENT. The mind of a millionaire is confident. They understand who and what they are. They understand their value and their worth therefore they do not seek acceptance or approval from anyone. They understand that everyone will not accept them or what they are doing and because they understand this it is o.k. But in the end, they understand that when someone rejects them or their business, their goals are bigger than their need for acceptance.

HONEST QUESTIONS: Do you prospect any and all people that you meet? Are you afraid to speak to some because of what you think they may say about you or your business? How will you gain confidence?

BUSINESS OWNERS. The mind of a millionaire is that of a professional. Because they are professional they treat their business professionally--they treat their business like a million dollar business from day one. The mind of a millionaire cannot purchase a business, start a business and treat it as something else. The mind of a millionaire is of one who does not wait for the concept to prove itself; they treat it, from day one, like it is a multi-million dollar business, therefore making it so.

HONEST QUESTIONS: Do you prospect on a daily basis? Are you on the conference calls? Do you attend events and meetings? How will you become a successful business owner?

Tips for the Serious-Minded

Let’s get honest with ourselves and ask the question. Are you doing any of the aforementioned items in your business today? Guess what, if your answer is no to any of them it is not too late, start right now. Make a commitment to yourself from this moment to turn your life and business from home around. The power to do it is in your hands alone. You can do it.

You may be thinking I bet you paid a different price, or you knew more people, or there was something in place for you. No, not true the only difference is that I am C. William Harper, II and you are who you are and that is it. If you started with my company you would pay the exact same price that I did. The only thing that I did was treat it like a multi-million dollar business from the moment I got started.

Create Your Million Dollar Business

Why do so many network marketers not create a million dollar business? You look at the successful and non-successful and see the differences. One of the key differences between people who don’t make anything and those who do is the way in which they treat their businesses. The blessing and the curse of network marketing is the cost to start. The start-up cost to own a network marketing business can be as low as $1.00 and even the most broke of broke spend that and more frivolously. If the entry fee is even $500.00 those same individuals spend that and more on Christmas so to get involved in network marketing the risk is not the same as a traditional business. These small sums of money are not a huge leap of faith because you are only looking at a few hundred bucks.

Now think about this, how many times have you spent a few hundred dollars on things that didn’t matter or things that you didn’t need. Maybe it was getting your car washed and detailed (you could have done this yourself), maybe it was getting your hair and nails done every single week oppose to once a month, maybe it was buying a new flat screen television oppose to keeping the old one just one more year, maybe it was buying a DS for all of your children, I do not know but we all have done it no matter what our financial standing. One of the key differences of top income earners, future or soon-to-be top income earners and no income earners is that they all join at the same price. The only major difference is the way in which their business is treated and it is truly because of their mindset. They do not view the small investment as throw away money. They view it as start up cost. It is an investment as if they had invested millions.

From day one I have treated my business like a multi-million dollar business because I do not know any other way to treat a BUSINESS. What does that mean that I treated it like a multi-million dollar business? It would not be hard for you to understand the type of commitment it would take if you purchased a McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, State Farm insurance agency, etc. because you would know what type of investment you just made to acquire the business. No one would have to coerce you, tell you or force you to wake up every single day to be in that business, to look at the inventory, to attend training sessions, to attend conference calls, to make sure the daily running’s of the business were taken care of. In fact, you would be seeking all sorts of information not waiting on someone to call you but making the calls first because your future is on the line not someone else’s. You would not worry about what anyone was saying about you. You would not pre-select who to talk to or market to; you would go after any and all people who you thought could benefit from your product or service.

But here is what happens to those non-successful business owners they are treating their business like it is less than a hobby. They got involved but never had buy-in and never developed faith in what they were doing. Maybe they got involved because it sounded good in their head to think that they are business owners. Maybe it sounds good to tell people that they just started a business. These same non-successful business owners also allow others to dictate their lifestyles. They allow others who are not successful and cannot help them become successful, tell them what they are doing will never be successful. Top income earners NEVER allow anyone to dictate their comings and goings and influence their decisions unless they have proof to do so. Meaning if a top income earner was told that something was not good they would look at the source first.

SUCCESS

One of the things that I admire about McDonald’s franchisees is that they will spend well over a million dollars just for the restaurant and an additional $100,000 to go to Hamburger University to learn to run their restaurants to their highest potential. These franchisees will spend the additional money to educate themselves because they know the value in their tutelage. But in network marketing there are people who will not attend events on a local level let alone on a regional or national level. The top income earners, soon-to-be, or up-and-coming top income earners will spend the money even if they have to find it to attend the necessary events because they understand that maybe my business is not a multi-million dollar business yet, however it will soon be because I am going to treat it as such.

Treat your business like it is going to be a million dollar business, the business that you got involved to provide FREEDOM for you and your family, the business that will provide income to you and to take care of you. If you treat it like a multi-million dollar business the chance of you creating a multi-million dollar business is incrementally exponentially increased.
