Have you ever been overwhelmed with all the logistics that are required to being successful that may not make sense? Do you get frustrated with others who have followed the rules and experienced results and you have not? Are you stuck to the point where you seemingly have no growth? Do you lack the know-how to develop A Right Vision? One thing that I promote is education and because of that I have developed a daily routine to keep my mind filled with positive things. I want to share with you some of the things that I do and have created that helps keep me on task and on point to accomplish my goals.

Why Bother With Frivolous Stuff?

As I mentioned I love education. I love to hear from the experts and learn what it is that they do to get the results that they have gotten. One of the things that I have found is that successful people do not do things the way the average person does. I tell my children all the time do not tell me what you DON’T want tell me what you DO want. The same holds for you. You need to focus on what you want and not on what you do not want.

Developing a Dream board or a Vision Book takes a positive mindset. You will have to think that this is a progressive step toward accomplishing your goal and not a frivolous activity. A Dream board or a Vision Book helps you to see yourself in those arenas. It may be to talk to one person every day. It may be to have all of your bills paid in full every single month or it may be to have a big house or a new car or take a dream trip. Either way, what you must understand is that creating a dream board or a vision book goes hand in hand with success. I am not talking about fantasizing about something that you feel that you cannot accomplish or have. I am a believer that there is nothing too hard for my God. But, in staying on point I am not talking about hoping, wishing, dreaming for the sake of doing those things. I am talking about creating a board or a book that reflects who you want to become in a certain period of time and things that you desire that you are actively trying to accomplish. Looking at your book or board with the affirmations and pictures and goals should help you stay on course. I have placed things in my book and years later have accomplished them. One of the goals that my wife and I had recently set for our children is that our two oldest have their own room. Since there are seven in my family having a three bedroom home was not going to cut it. God blessed us with a five bedroom home and it was because we envisioned it and was actively seeking it.

I have to tell you that although creating a dream board or vision book are great tools to have when working within a vision, they are NOT enough to create your perfect life course. Faith without works is dead. You MUST do something that means to take action, have a concrete daily routine, educate yourself through training (conferences, webinars, books, tapes, etc.), network and surround yourself with individuals who will push you and help you reach new levels. Some of these actions take time to develop, but developing a dream board or vision book is easy to do right away which begins your course of developing a right vision.

Dream board or Vision Book?

I was taught years ago to create a dream board and many of the things that were on my board my wife and I accomplished. However, over the years I have found that a vision book (hard copy or digital) is best for me. The reason that I use a vision book is

1. It is easier to travel with than a huge vision board.

2. I can add or take away images easier without ripping anything.

3. I have space to put my affirmations and write them out daily.

4. I have a book that houses both my pictures as well as affirmations in one place.
