DO YOU HAVE A VISION FOR YOUR FUTURE?

Have you ever been frustrated with not knowing what your future holds? Do you feel overwhelmed with the idea that you should have a vision for your future yet you do not currently? Have you been stuck with the same old results and they do not seem meaningful and valuable to others? Do you lack the knowledge to reach your goals in life? A lot of time we try to look for strategic ways to accomplish our goals, but truthfully we must start with a vision. I want to help you hone into what your vision for your future would look like and gain a level of understanding as to why it is vitally important to reaching your goals

What Are Your Life Goals?

When I was in my twenties and thirties my goals all seem to be material in nature. I wanted the new car, the big house, the nice suits, etc. All of those things are just fine, in fact God tells us that he wants to bless us with all of that, but He first tells us we must tend to his business first and that stuff will come. Simply put, your desires, goals, aspirations should be larger than you and bigger than things. Meaning what type of legacy do you want to leave? What type of impression do you want to leave with others? Do you want to have a vision that proceeds after you have long left this earth?

I have learned that with the right vision there is true power and influence. A right vision will draw you to those things to accomplish your goal whether it is people or resources and it will certainly prevent you from taking steps that are not in alignment with accomplishing your goals. A right vision creates precision focus. Due to this precision focus a person tends to not waver in what they are trying to accomplish. They stay steadfast and on course.

For instance, I am currently trying to expose as many people as I possibly can to hydrating themselves properly. In doing so I am bringing value to those individuals’ lives through weight loss, healthy living, etc. Because I know I can help people and I am actively doing so, I am experiencing growth in my business because I am not being self-serving. I am exposing my vision which is to help as many people that I possibly can to possibly rid them of diseases through proper hydration. What I have found is that when something does not align with helping individuals properly hydrate I am moved away from them and them from me because I cannot accomplish my goals.

Although this is a vision within a larger vision that I have, my ultimate goal is to not only help people with obtaining healthy life, but it is to help educate network marketers and home based business owners to realize success within their business through fully understanding their businesses and all that they have to offer.

Why is it Important to Have a Vision for Your Future

The Bible tells us that without a vision people perish. I am certainly convinced of this. A lot of times people mistake purpose for vision. They are different and the difference is purpose is a driving force. It helps drives us to accomplish the vision. The Vision is the impact. It is you knowing what kind of presence you want to make on the world. Simply put Vision is who do you want to become. Think about it this way, if you were to walk into a room what do you want them to say about you “Oh that is the person that _____________________________.”

A RIGHT VISION will do a couple of things.

• Do the things that are in alignment with the vision to accomplish

• Not do the things that are not in alignment with the vision to accomplish

When I think about it I initially got into network marketing years ago to make money because of failed businesses and that is all that I could see. Now, my wife and I want to help others and we have specifically found something that works for us.We realized that it is not just talent, or the development of skills it is all of that to create a vision and what you want to stand for and be when it is all said and done.

We had been jumping from thing to thing and promoted this and that and never really accomplishing anything of significance and worth to ourselves or others. Because we have four beautiful children we realize not only do we want to leave a strong legacy, but we are obligated to do so. It goes even beyond our four children, because that is what we are here to do. If you are asked what you want to be in five years or do in five years or where do you see yourself and your answer is in dollars and cents that is not enough.

I have learned that money in itself does not give you passion to accomplish something bigger than yourself, vision does. Once you get a right vision all those other elements like prospecting, recruiting, scripts, etc. will come and be well developed because your vision will pull you toward those activities. So, my advice to you is to work on your vision, there are people who are depending upon it. Make it big and create an impact right where you are. Learn to make a vision book or dream board to get you started.
