BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH

Do you get frustrated with the negative words that people are saying? Are you lacking confidence to push forward and be self-motivated? Have you felt overwhelmed with the enormous amount of doubt from others? Are you stuck and feel discouraged? Well, as a Pastor one thing that I know and have experienced is that as long as you have vision and lofty goals that people are aware of you will experience naysayers. There are going to be those who will not support you but you must believe and have faith in yourself and your efforts.

PURPOSE

Keep your head up, Don’t Get Discouraged by Naysayers

The one thing that you must not do is try to prove to others and rely on their viewpoints of you. This is not a sermon however, the Bible tells me not to rely on mankind because you will always be disappointed. The Bible speaks about this because the thing that is evident about mankind is that we cannot and will never be totally pleased. Therefore, trying to prove to others your worth or value is meaningless. That is unfortunate but the reality is that when you are given a vision others may not see it. For those of you who are familiar with stories in the Bible there is one particular story that relates to what I am talking about and that is the story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. Just like Joseph you may be thrown into a pit (not literally) because others do not believe in you. But also like Joseph once you make your goals known it stirs up emotions that may not be favorable toward you. The one thing that you will have to know is that you should not get discouraged and you will have to keep the faith because your belief in yourself does not require others to see what you see.

What Do You Do About Naysayers

Naysayers, Haters, Doubters, jealousy they all seem the same to me. Your time is too valuable to spend thinking about what individuals who are not supportive of you are saying. The thing that I have learned is that everyone is not going to be a fan. However, because you know that, it should give you great energy. Individuals who are ridiculing you are not serving any purpose unless you turn a negative into a positive. Use their negative words and behavior to help you and not hurt you. You can either let someone’s doubts, dream stealing, or hatred steal your power or you can let that activate the power within you--the power that says ANYTHING is possible for you and that you are POWERFUL beyond your imagination. I pray that this post may be giving you the power to say to yourself right now I have no choice but to succeed because I have to become the BIGGEST ME possible. With this type of energy you will find it simple to have faith in yourself and accomplish MORE THAN you ever dreamed.

Get Fuel From the Fire

The Crab in the Bucket Mentality also known as the Crab syndrome is the behavior in which a bunch of crabs are trapped at the bottom of a bucket and one of them tries to climb to the top; instead of attempting the climb themselves, those left at the bottom of the bucket will do everything within their collective power to drag the climber back down. And although crab behavior should not in any way be similar to human behavior, network marketers experience many instances where it is. We have to know that as long as we are in this business we will encounter negativity. People will say things like “you won’t make it”, “it’s a scam”, “you are not going to get anywhere”, or “you are wasting your time and money.”

Sadly, negativity is everywhere and continues to be but you don’t have to succumb to it. When negativity is fired your way use it as fuel to fire you up and be the spark to get you going. You have to have tough skin because if you don’t you will be the only one who suffers not the naysayers. They don’t have as much to lose as you. In fact, they don’t have anything to lose because it is your future that you are gambling with. There are those who are happy when they can pull you down oppose to edifying. This is where you can build great character by using their negativity to fuel you. We all can succeed there is enough to go around. The Bible tells me that I am blessed to be a blessing. Simply put, if I am successful, I should not only want to help others become successful, I must help others succeed. The only time that you will not experience negativity is when you are not on anyone’s radar. Just remember when you are doing something productive with your life you become a target some way somehow.

Be faithful to yourself

Are you ready to succeed? Are you fired up? Great! No matter who you are if you reading this post just remember that you some people will not believe in you. When you encounter those individuals just remember that YOU are to choose light over the dark (negativity). Use it as fuel to fire you. Keep the faith because I believe that you can and you will have PURPOSE DIRECTED SUCCESS in your life.
