3 STEPS TO NETWORK MARKETING SUCCESS

Have you ever wondered and felt a little frustrated with whether network marketing really works? Have you ever felt stuck in whether you will achieve success with your network marketing business? Are you overwhelmed with all the hype about how many millionaires that have been produced owning a network marketing business? Do you feel you lack the knowledge to achieve the type of success in network marketing that you have heard many others achieve? Throughout my years in network marketing I have been asked what is required to have success in network marketing. There are three things that continue to arise and what I have been taught over the years that prove to produce success in my life.

• UNDERSTANDING

Once you come to the realization and understanding what you have in a Network Marketing business and realize that this is just an incredible way to achieve the American dream you are well on your way. Robert Kiyosaki does an incredible job in his book ……The Business School for people who like helping people. He gives great insight as to why Network Marketing is an incredible way to create wealth. Understanding that this is a better way for entrepreneurs to create wealth, along with the power of geometric growth and the power of word of mouth advertising is where you success begins.

Becoming successful requires complete understanding of what you have in your hands. This is where the breakdown occurs over and over. Lack of understanding of the business and opportunity you have right in front of you. Many individuals make a grand attempt to diversify instead of focusing on the tasks that will ensure their success. They get involved in network marketing and lose interest just as quickly because of lack of understanding the magnitude of success that a network marketing business can bring to their lives.

Rich Dad lists ten steps on “How To Get Out Of The Rat Race.” Although all ten steps are important, step Nine made me reevaluate, because it an area where many fail to get right. We can all improve in the area called F.O.C.U.S. – Follow One Course Until Successful. This one step is the very step that gets many off course and leads them to lack of understanding. If you stay on course you will begin to understand what network marketing is, how network marketing works, and that level of understanding then places you in a much better position, thus increasing your chances of ultimate success!

• SKILLS

Once you have understanding you need to go out and develop your skills. Eric Worre in his book Go Pro outlines the skillsets that a successful network marketing entrepreneur MUST obtain and how to grow them. There are seven skills that he talks about in becoming a network marketing professional. But it is not just learning the skills it is applying them or practicing them until you master them.

A lot of times Network Marketers devalue training. Just like any other professional whether a doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc., they all were trained to perform their given tasks effectively and excellently. An ongoing questions seems to be is how important is training for Network Marketers? My answer to that is getting a solid education should be one of your highest priorities, as an independent business owner it is not anyone’s responsibility for your ultimate success or failure but your own.

A college student is responsible for his or her own education. They do not have anyone pushing them and prodding them to attend class. It is their own desire and motivation that compels them to attend and it is the same for a Network Marketer. If you really thing about it this part isn’t hard it is very easy. But, our human nature leads us to over complicate and overthink. A vast majority of us get our start in this industry only to stray off the beaten path.

While the internet information age has opened a whole new world of information, to entrepreneurs, it has also derailed a vast majority of them as well. So, What Will It Really Take For You To Become Successful? It will take commitment and determination from you in time, money (marketing budget) and consistent action from you to build and market your business. This is why the right Network Marketing Training is not only necessary but vitally important to your future success. Developing your skillset is the most important asset that you will have. If you’re serious about making this your life style, to have the ability to call your own shots, then you MUST take the time necessary to really learn how to become a true professional!

• FACE YOUR FEAR

Many people fail in this industry because they are just simply fearful. They may be fearful of what other people may say, what others think, fear of not knowing, just plain fear. Many people have a truly active imagination of what may or may not happen in the future. We all have fears and what we all have to do is face our fears in order to conquer them.

Personal Accountability seems to be one of the biggest fears that many in this industry have. Our human nature seems to want to achieve the greatest results with the least amount of energy expended. If you carry your “employee mentality” into your business, you are setting yourself up for failure.

You made a decision to call your own shots, be your own boss, so guess what--you had better show up for work. There is not going to be someone there standing over you holding you accountable that is your job now! You said you wanted freedom, change, success, etc. YOU are going to have to go get it. It will not come any other way.

In reality there are very few network marketing tools you actually need. The most important tool is you! Step ten of getting out of the rat race is to “Never Stop Learning!” Everyone gets started with the best intentions. Yet, many of you have never done this before! This is a people business, which means our communications skills have to be developed! These skills are more important than just about anything else you’ll ever learn!

Everyone wants to tie the internet & network marketing together with their business, and you should, yet you can fall into the trap of not focusing on the essentials that you’ll need to become successful. I’ve said it for years that our learning curve is not linear but moves along parallel paths. Laying a proper & solid foundation for your business with the right tools will pay you huge dividends later. Begin to walk through those fears by getting understanding and developing your skills.

So to answer the question what is required to have success in network marketing my answer would be to understand that network marketing may not be perfect, but it is just better, then committing yourself to develop your skills and last to face your fears and work on conquering them every single day you will be well on your way to acquiring breakthrough and success in network marketing.
