Have you ever felt frustrated with the Network Marketing game so to speak? Have you felt as if growing your business is an overwhelming task? Do you often feel stuck in a holding pattern of growth? Are you feeling as if you are lacking the tools to become the success that you know you can be? I have to tell you that it does not matter who you are or what your circumstances are a well-known fact to overcoming is the harder you train the easier the game.
VIDEO: GET YOUR TRAIN ON
Here is what that simply means when it comes to network marketing, when you are trained well, you are more informed, and when you are more informed the easier it is for you to handle your tasks. You see, the harder you train yourself within your industry the better more informed individual you will become which translates to an easier game that you are playing. You must understand that life is a game for adults and when you are better prepared your life is simply easier. Remember that the secret of success is to be ready when your opportunity comes or as many have heard it said success is when preparation meets opportunity. Either way, it is vitally important that you train hard.
THE FORMULA
I have been in sports most of my life and I have played at a very high level. Sports taught me how to succeed. One of the major things that I learned is that when I trained harder than the average individual whether that meant to get to the gym 2 hours earlier, eat better, memorize my plays and those around me, understanding the peripherals that everyone overlooked. No matter what it was I had to do it hard and within excellence. Sports success just like life isn’t difficult to achieve, truthfully the formula is very basic. To become great and succeed at anything all one need do is “train hard”.
It is well-known that the “train hard” formula works in any sports arena. All an athlete needs to do to stand out on the playing field is to take his or her training more seriously on the practice field and in the gym more so than other athletes. And yes, this success formula transfers over into your business as well. How, you might ask? Here is how it transferred for me…
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I have been in the network marketing business a little over 20 years but I have not always been successful. It wasn’t until I made training a priority over recruiting that I began to receive great success. Once I made time to read books, watch webinars and dvds, attend seminars and conferences, listen to cds, etc. Once I began to become a student and learn what the experts were telling me and began applying the knowledge to my business I began to grow. I live my life by the Word of God and the Bible tells me to not just be a hearer of the Word but a doer also. Well, I am telling you, do not just be a hearer of network marketing teachings be doers. Soak up the information like a sponge, and apply the knowledge to your business each and every day.
SUCCESS TRANSFORMATION
One thing I knew was that if I wanted to become truly great I needed to train. Just like any other professional whether it is a sports professional, medical professional, legal professional, etc.--they all have to train hard to become the best. So that is what I did.
I bought books, read them and made no excuses. I bought the audios and actually listened to them over and over again until the knowledge was a part of me. I purchased the courses and studied them attentively. I bought the tickets and encouraged others to do the same at every seminar and event on the subject that I could locate. I worked with others who were receiving success and asked questions and listened to their answers. I worked on personal development and consumed tons of content. I trained my mind with a tenacity and voracity that dovetails an athlete looking to go pro. And as the athlete going pro would train their body, I trained my mind, habits and skillsets.
THE END TO THE BEGINNING
Because I trained hard, guess what seemed to magically happen. The game (network marketing) got easier and success was born. It only seemed as if there was magic--it was truly from the work behind the scenes coming to fruition. The game did not get easier because the game changed--the game became easier because I changed. I got better, I got smarter, I got wiser, therefore, I got success.
Jim Rohn said, “Don’t wish it was easier wish you were better.” And what’s the secret to getting better... Train harder. Training harder gets you better.
