YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOT DICTATE YOUR SUCCESS

Have you ever been frustrated with a situation that you thought you had under control and it turned out differently than you thought it would have? Have you ever felt stagnant and unable to maintain productivity? Are you overwhelmed with circumstances of life and feel that you will not be successful because of them? Are you lacking the will to push through a seemingly unresolvable situation because you cannot see a viable way out? Well, please do not be discouraged I am going to give you some Words of Wisdom that will help.

IT IS ALREADY TOO LATE

I remember when I was younger feeling fearless and invincible. I believed that anything and I mean anything that I set my sights on or my mind toward I would and could accomplish. However, when you are desirous of success in your life no matter what the level of success is and you have not obtained it, what seems to happen is your faith begins to fade.

You may often make statements and excuses like “if I could speak the way she does then I would have talked to more people”; “if I had a spouse that was more supportive then I would have showed the presentation more”; “if I had more books in my home…; if I were smarter in that area…. No matter what the reason or rationale we all have circumstances in our lives and truthfully your circumstances DO NOT matter. You could spend precious time dwelling upon your circumstances and the would’ve, should’ve, could’ves. You can blame everything and everyone but that will not change your circumstances because your circumstances DO NOT dictate your success.

I am an only child and seeing my friends with their brothers especially those that had older brothers, I could have easily said to myself if I had an older brother maybe I would not have made this decision or that decision. Maybe my life would have gone this way or I would have had that by now (I am sure at some point I did say that). However, I realized that it would have served me no purpose in doing that. What I quickly realized too is that we all need challenges in our lives that will make us show what we are made of. I could not live in the shadows or the protection of a brother that I did not even have. And even if I had a brother he could not obtain success for me. Only I could do that.

GET YOUR FIGHT BACK

I made a conscience choice to NEVER to settle for anything less than what I was promised and you should not either. God made each and every one of us special and He did so that the world could benefit from our specialness. If you settle you cheat yourself and the world from actualizing and benefiting from all that you have to offer.

I encourage you to WAKE UP right now and wake up those dreams, aspirations, desires, and goals. I encourage you to get fired up about your business and fight for the success of it. Every day you need to wake up and get out of bed with a fight in your spirit that says you will not be denied. A fight that says NO ONE and NOTHING will strip me from my greatness. Your fight should compel you to call just one more person. It should compel you to show just one more presentation. It should give you the drive and motivation to read, study, learn and apply the knowledge to your business so you can continue to grow. These are the actions that will allow you to defy the odds, laugh at your circumstances, and climb over your obstacles.

It is utterly amazing how a person can have such zeal and zest as a child but as they grow in wisdom and experience they often lose their fight. I have heard many people limit themselves saying things like “I am 60 years old and I cannot build a business…” My response to that is you may be 60 now but if you keep talking like a defeated person you are going to be 90 and old. I am a believer that if you stop reading, thinking, moving and building your business will die quicker and so will your zest for life. You must MOVE if you want to succeed.

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE AND DO NOT SETTLE

There is someone in the Bible by the name of Abraham. He is 100 years old and his wife is 90 when they conceived their child Isaac. They were told many years prior that they would have a child, but as they got older and older they felt that it was too late. But God told Abraham to Not Settle because that was promised to them.

I will tell you the exact same thing Do NOT settle because your circumstances do not dictate your success. You do not have to be a believer to know that your circumstances can be conquered. If there is someone who has gone through a similar circumstance or worse you can get through yours. Although I cannot make you believe that you are more than a conqueror I can expose you to the truth. The Bible tells me that God will do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that I ask or think. I think and ask often and my business is reflective of it.

When you got in business for yourself it was your responsibility to believe in something that far exceeded normal. You got in your business to have success. I do not believe you got involved to fail. With that being said, I have seen individuals get in business and will face circumstances that may be tough, but as soon as it is tough they will leave. Here is the interesting part about that, who does it hurt? It hurts YOU. You cannot leave the business for trivial matters—if I am not conducting the training calls I am leaving; if my picture is not in the book I am leaving; if my check came Saturday instead of Friday I am leaving. You miss your blessing for growth; success and influence therefore, keep your focus. Remember you are not going to settle. You are going to fight all the way through and will not give up on your dreams.

AFFIRMATIONS ARE YOUR FRIENDS

I have often told my circumstances that I will not go away quietly. I will not settle for less than my very best. I will not neutralize my tenacity and give up on my integrity. I am a warrior and I will fight each and every day if I have to until I reach my goal. No matter how many times that I fall and I will fall I will pick myself back up and continue fighting.

When you make affirmations like those that puts you in a position of accountability. You cannot let yourself go, you have to take care of yourself, you cannot give up on yourself, and you must get up with an agenda toward forward progression no matter how long it takes.

YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR

Now I realize that not only do we have successes in our businesses we may have complications as well. What I mean by complications is the obstacles that we face. Just like Abraham in the Bible, he had a complication by the name of Ishmael. Ishmael was his illegitimate son that he conceived with Hagar an Egyptian slave. For those of us who know the story Abraham was considered a conqueror. He was able to conquer this complication as well. But the funny thing about a conqueror is that every one of them has complications. If you think that you are going to conquer success without having a complication you will NEVER be a conqueror and NEVER have a successful business.

I AM A CONQUEROR and I do not tell you that to brag but I tell you that because as a conqueror I know a lot of other conquerors. And one thing that we all have in common is that we all experience complications. Our complications however, are not an indication on whether we can conquer or not. But in my level of understanding, experience and the fight within me those complications are better viewed as opportunities. You may be asking yourself how in the world can I ever become a conqueror when I have complications.

Well, look at it like this, conquerors do not typically talk to one another but everyone else sees them as Superheroes. But the reality is conquerors are not heroes at all they are humans. And because they are humans, when you view them as superheroes you separate yourself from ever being able to accomplish what you think they were able to accomplish. As a Conqueror I will tell you that the strength that I have not only is it from God but it is given through the struggles that I face. When I have a downline that is not cooperative it allows me to get stronger in that area; when I have to deal with lack of motivation in my business having this complication allows me to address it which allows me to get stronger in that area and grow. The list goes on and on. Consequently, the greatness of me being a conqueror does not reveal itself until I have a complication. If I did not have complications, struggles or obstacles to face what would I have to conquer?

I believe that just like me your strength lies in the little things that God has blessed you with. I will give you the perfect example. My wife has NEVER liked social media. She has been responsible for the online portion of our business. She had little knowledge in that area, yet God is growing her exponentially in that area and our business is seeing the results of those efforts. So you may not be experienced, knowledgeable, or big in a particular area but large things are often birthed through the little. Say to yourself I CAN DO IT.
